Item Description

First script has "#1" penciled at upper right and includes text "Opening. Announcer: Silvercup - The World's Finest Bread - Is Now On The Air - Bringing You The Long Ranger In Another Great - Thrilling Adventure Story - Telling Of The Builders Of The Great West. Now - Just A Moment - Please - Before You Hear The Lone Ranger Narrative". Text mentions Silvercup's use of milk from 750 farms "Certainly Boosting President Roosevelt's Idea Of Helping The Farmer" and goes on to the middle commercial and the closing commercial which ends with "Listen For The Cry Of The Lone Ranger Again Friday Evening At This Same Time - When He Will Bring You Another Great Adventure Story!" Next three scripts are numbered consecutively 2, 3 and 4 and have somewhat similar though different text commercial on each. First script has oxidation mark in 1" area at upper left corner of front from paperclip no longer present, along with a tiny bit of edge wear along right side edge of top sheet. Overall group is Fine/VF. Silvercup started sponsorship of the Lone Ranger program in Nov. 1933 and continued until 1939. Extremely limited distribution just for radio stations. Interesting reading.
