Item Description
4-5/8x5.5" envelope postmarked Dec. 26, 1939 Los Angeles, CA is hand addressed to recipient in Los Angeles. Contains 4.5x5-3/8" Christmas card with four pages. Front cover says "I Wish You A" with large red ink blot. Card opens to reveal text "Alright, So I Ain't Neat! Anyway A" with tube of Pepsodent toothpaste and Pepsodent liquid spelling out "Merry Christmas Bob Hope". Back of envelope has bit of paper residue from scrapbook removal. Right side of card has some lt. creasing which blends well with textured bkg. VG/Fine overall. Interesting design. First we've seen in our 45 years.
