Item Description
Ten issues. The first eight are “Cosmopolitan”. Five issues are 6.75x9 7/8", page count ranges from 138 to 152. Dates are August 1909, October 1910, August 1912, and July and October 1914. Next three issues of “Cosmopolitan” are each 8 3/8x11 5/8" with page count ranging from 162 to 226. Dates are June 1928, and February and December 1933. Stories includes Rex Beach “The Auction Block” illustrated by Gibson, “Egypt Of The Magicians” by Runyard Kipling illustrated by Matania, Kewpie illustrator Rose O’Neill “Worshiping Freddie” illustrated by her, and an article on “The Dawn Of Fascism”. "Saturday Evening Post" issues are each 11.25x14.25" with page count ranging from 32 to 52. Dates are November 10, 1900 and January 20, 1912. All issues feature wonderful front cover art of pretty women in various activities by Harrison Fisher spanning 33 years. Scattered wear with some cover dust soil and some aging, spines of a few Cosmopolitans are missing small bits of paper here and there with a few small tears. Overall group is VG/Fine. An interesting look at his work over the years.
