Item Description
11.25x14.25". Thin cardboard. c. 1910. Fontaine was made with maple and white sugar. Three vignettes depict three scenes in the same kitchen with black cat and "Jack Frost" box appearing in all three. First shows boy and girl with pot on stove captioned "For Making Candy." Second is man and woman with hand cranked ice cream maker captioned "For Making Ice Cream." Last is older couple with cake on cake plate captioned "For Icings And Cakes." Text bottom left reads "French Fondant Co/Philadelphia." Original grommet at top center. 2" moisture mark on left margin. Corner bumps. Does not detract from color and graphic appeal. VF.
