Auction #204 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1446 in auction 204
Item Description
1 5/16” (34mm) brass button with top slogan “Long Live The President” above center oval displaying large “GW” initials. This design is cataloged in Albert’s book as WI 11 A. For an autographed copy of the book see #24. Exceptionally clean surface with very bold lettering, just a little loss of detail from the lower right portion of the letter "G". The original reverse shank remains attached although folded over. Overall an extremely fine example of scarce and very sought after design that features his initials boldly at center.
