Item Description
1" brass (26mm). Obverse has his name and bust in uniform. Reverse has rays and star design surrounding design of an eye at center, but the details of the eye are worn off. The other details and slogan "Success To The United States" remain clear and bold. On the portrait side, as made, a hairline from a break in the die, as described by DeWitt, crosses his head and the facial portrait has smoothing of the raised details. Still a VG example with very nice golden brass color. Scarce.
