Item Description
This election inaugurated the wide-spread use of campaign medalets. This piece is brass 15/16" dia. listed as DeWitt/Sullivan AJ1824-2. Front has his portrait facing right and his name while reverse has the slogan "Hero Of New Orleans". This variety is the 38 leaf version rather than 37. Clean example. Fine.
