Exceedingly rare 1.25" by the same maker (Western Badge/St. Paul) as item #248 and featuring same incredible crystal clear real photo without dot pattern as also shown on items #248-249 but here as a pure portrait button, unadorned by any text. Very likely produced in 1900, as was #248. A single light hairline scratch .5" long crossed left background and his right eye, but this barely shows even in reflected light. Condition of the button is NM and it displays Mint with mirror-like gloss. A stunning and rare portrait of TR. Only example known to us.
