8x9.75" glossy showing Schmeling shadow boxing has bold 3.25" wide “Best Wishes Max Schmeling” fiber-tip marker signature in clear area at lower left. Photo has a few minor handling creases just visible in reflected light. Otherwise Exc. appearance. Schmeling was a German boxer who was heavyweight champion of the world between 1930 and 1932. His two fights with Joe Louis in the late 1930s became worldwide social events because their two countries were almost at war. Schmeling was ranked 55 on Ring Magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time. Comes with Hake’s COA and JSA COA.
