Both are copyright 1940. 3-7/8x5-3/8" soft cover Fast-Action book has front cover art of Carter reaching for his sword and back cover ad promoting "The Funnies" comic book which has John Carter cover. Front cover has a few very faint barely noticeable hairline creases at lower right. Overall covers bright and Fine. A tight copy with VF pages. Better Little Book is 3-5/8x4.5" No.1402 with vivid front cover art of giant four armed monster holding tiny John Carter in his right hand and tree trunk in left hand. Covers have trace of lt. dust soil with tiny bit of wear at corner tips. Fine. Inside pages are VF. Overstreet value for the pair in Fine is $483.00.
