Item Description
Copyright 1976-1978 The Gorblimey Press NYC. Stiff paper print portfolio is 10x16.75" containing four stiff paper prints, each 10x16.5". Each feature different intricate image of Conan-like characters. Plate one has art matching front cover with Conan-like warrior holding sword with two hands and is boldly signed in brown ink at lower right "Barry Smith 84/1000". NM. First poster, in color, is 18x18" titled "Fate Sowing The Stars" with incredibly intricate art of figures floating in space with woman wearing flowing gown throwing out stardust. Though not noted, poster was issued in an unnumbered limited edition of 100. A few lt. handling creases, most noticeable at lower left but otherwise bright and VF. Second poster is 16.25x21.75" stiff paper with ghostly image of cloaked figure with skull head in foreground and thick woods with ancient buildings in bkg. at top of hill. Poster is titled "Withering" and also includes text at lower far right "Second Edition". NM. Superb graphics throughout by a truly gifted artist known for his fine work on the Conan comic book character.
