Item Description
15/16" with rim hole as made. Each side has candidate's full name along with date of 1860. Brass rim has bright and near full luster on both sides. The beardless Lincoln is dark but easily discernable. Upper left edge of ferro has very trivial couple of scuff lines and far lower left edge has minute sliver of emulsion off but neither defect is obvious without magnification. The Hamlin ferro is also dark but again overall the image is easily seen although details of eyes, nose and mouth are present but not terribly distinct. Overall still VF with only the most minimal emulsion damage and still with bold luster. See Queen Victoria and Albert ferrotype from this era #1100.
