28.75x40.5" Japanese market promotional posters. 1970s. Predate release of Shogun Warriors toys in the U.S. Printed on heavy poster stock and rolled as issued. Both poster's have some margin wear, lt. creases. lt. aging on poster backs. Fine. All text in Japanese Kanji characters. Posters depict the characters of Gaiking and Gaiking Daikamaryu also featured are supporting characters of Nesser, Skylar and Bazolar. Gaiking was notable for being one of the few super robot series to take place in real places outside of Japan, and for being the first Super Robot series to have a mobile carrier for the chief robots. In the USA, Gaiking was part of Mattel's popular Shogun Warriors import toy line of the late 1970s and Jim Terry's Force Five anthology series. Gaiking is being prepped for a 2012 world-wide film release. Bright and glossy with spectacular images.
