Map has folded size of 5.5x8.5" and opens to 17x22" with very detailed overhead view of London c. 1890 which includes all street names, prominent buildings, and landmarks such as "Sherlock Holmes' Residence, Madame Tussaud's Wax Works, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, London Docks, Kensington Gardens" etc. Features Holmes related images at the four corners which include microscope, magnifying glass, beakers, fingerprint, etc. Lower right corner has designer name Geo. H. Bodeen. Margins have note that they were to be trimmed "For Framing", but this has not been done and all is as issued. Bottom margin includes related company text. Slightest aging as folded with some age toning to blank reverse. Front remains totally bright and clean with vibrant color. Exc.
