Item Description
1.75” button with suspended 4.5” ribbon and celluloid elephant on yellow ribbon. Button reads “Souvenir Mills Bros. Circus”, which began in 1940. However, button is c. 1950’s showing their famous performing elephant with her blanket and award ribbon reading “Miss Burma Official GOP Mascot.” Miss Burma achieved her status by attendance at the White House for one, if not both, of Eisenhower’s 1953 & 1957 inaugural celebrations. A couple of light tan age dots on extreme edges, very minor. Displays glossy and VF. Second we’ve seen.
