Top bar in silvered brass reads "Souvenir." This has reverse pin and holds very shredded but surprisingly still intact rwb fabric ribbon joining a pair of brass rings to 1.5" celluloid. Cello has light scattered stain plus one long center vertical crack with a smaller crack each to the left and right. The item retains its full gloss. In addition to our title quotation, top of this celluloid reads "Bridgeport Centennial/Nov. 12, 1800/Nov. 12, 1900." Back of the piece is covered in a tin plate. No maker's name. Only example we've seen.
