See Plane Crazy production art by Ub Iwerks # 2198. 9.5x12" animation sheet has 6.75x11.25" lead pencil image area with Captain Pete grabbing Mickey Mouse. Lower right corner has pencil #489. Sheet has lt. margin aging with faint .5" crease at lower right corner tip, image area is exceptionally large and Exc. Released on November 18, 1928 Steamboat Willie was the third of Mickey’s cartoons to be produced, but was the first to be distributed and the first to be shown more than once in a theater. It is historically recognized as the first cartoon to feature a full sound track. A clean and tight drawing by a major animation pioneer who was a partner of Walt Disney.
