Item Description
Lead pencil art is attributed to Tom Wood for promotion of cartoon released on June 16,1934 which was directed by Dave Hand. 9.5x12" sheet of animation paper has image filling almost entire sheet. Clean and tight drawing has Mickey in cab of steamroller which has gone out of control with nephews Morty and Ferdy seated on top of two clouds. Lower right corner has Minnie watching the action. Lt. margin aging, but most of image area has Exc. appearance. Nephew Ferdy first appeared in the Mickey Mouse comic strip on September 18, 1932 and this is his only cartoon appearance. Well drawn.
