Item Description
From same set as #1251. Bottom margin text reads "Filadelfia 1910 Plank P." Despite aging, image remains distinct. One of the key cards in this set. Plank played for Philadelphia Athletics (1901-1914), St. Louis Terriers (1915), St. Louis Browns (1916-1917). Plank's 326 victories rank third-most all time among lefties behind Warren Spahn and Steve Carlton, and he posted more shutouts and completed more games than any other left-hander. Elected to the HOF in 1946. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
