Item Description
From same set as #1251. Bottom margin text reads "Detroit 1910 Stanage C." Tiny 1/6" hole on top margin but a sharp image. Stanage played fourteen seasons in the Major Leagues, primarily with the Detroit Tigers. He had one at bat with the Cincinnati Reds in 1906 before playing with the Tigers for thirteen years. Stanage caught more games for the Detroit Tigers than any catcher except Bill Freehan. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
