Item Description
Tight lead pencil drawing for cartoon released September 23, 1938 directed by Bill Roberts. 10x12" animation sheet has 6x7.75" image area showing surprised King sitting on throne. Bottom half of image has a few notes in red pencil relating to design. Lt. margin aging, otherwise image area is Exc. Well drawn. This cartoon was one of the most expensive ever made, and was nominated for an Academy Award.
