Item Description
Art is for Silly Symphony cartoon released December 23, 1938 and directed by Wilfred Jackson. Each animation sheet is 10x12" with art in lead pencil. First sheet has lead pencil #23 at lower right and has 5.5x7.5" image area showing happy four member horn section with instruments and top hats. Second sheet is # “50A” in lead pencil at lower right corner and has 7.25x10" image area featuring the Hi De-Ho man in center surrounded by his six member band. Right margins of both sheets have a few numbers or letters in lead pencil, first sheet has name “Anthony” in colored pencil at upper right corner. Lt. margin aging, otherwise both drawings are Exc. Wonderful expressive images.
