Item Description
Lot consists of 8x10" front and back covers plus 23 of 24 pictures issued in 1942. All feature choice full color illustrations on fronts, backs are bw w/actual wartime photos. Set is missing only picture titled "The Patrol Torpedo Boats." Superb art by Fred J. Hoertz of planes, ships, tanks and the like. Cover has different art front/back. Slightest aging to reverses but totally bright and clean, Exc./NM. As a bonus, lot also comes w/two pictures from two other war series. One from 1943 America Attacks and one from 1944-45 United Nations At War. Also Exc./NM.
