Auction #182 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1499 in auction 182
Item Description
2" tall die-cut embossed brass shown open in our photo. When the hinged seat is held closed by a tab the chair back reads "Presidential Chair" and the chair seat reads "Who Shall Occupy It." When the tab is pulled, the chair seat flies open and displays a sepia paper portrait of Cleveland." Photo has a few tiny and near microscopic pinpoint black dots but these show barely at all without magnification. Brass areas are clean but without high luster. Mechanical aspect works perfectly. Overall Fine plus and one of the earliest mechanicals.
