Item Description
Each is approx. 5.5x8.25" New York edition. Vol. 3 #27 for July 8, 1950 has 32 pages with nice cover photo of Ted Williams in Boston uniform and Joe DiMaggio in Yankees uniform talking and laughing. Contents include photo article on All-Star game including photos of Yogi Berra, Pee Wee Reese, Dodgers players Robinson, Newcombe, and Campanella, plus Stan Musial, and Phil Rizzuto. Second issue is Vol. 5 #15 for April 11, 1952 with 40 pages. Front cover has nice photo of Pee Wee Reese in action and includes article on upcoming baseball season including small photo of Joe DiMaggio and photos of announcers including Mel Allen and Red Barber. First issue has two small ink stamp dates in 2" area near center of front cover, both issues has some lt. handling creases and lt. wear. Overall covers VG and contents near Exc.
