Item Description
O'Connor became the first female jurist on the Supreme Court, appointed by Reagan in 1981 and retiring in 2006. The photos and letter are all addressed to newsman Harry McLaughlin and relate to her 1996 visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield. One is 6x9". One is 8x10" of her placing wreath at monument. The snapshot shows her with McLaughlin. The letter on Supreme Court stationery thanks McLaughlin for photos her sent her. This is dated Dec. 3, 1996. One fold. Comes with envelope. Rest is Mint.
