Dick Gregory, 1968 presidential candidate of the Peace and Freedom Party ticket is summed up in the first paragraph of this 1982 handbill 8.5x11" for an appearance in York, PA. It reads "It Is Difficult To Label The Prolific Activities Of Dick Gregory. He Became Famous As A Professional Comedian. Today He Is A Recording Artist, Author, Lecturer, Actor, Human Rights Activist, Social Satirist, Critic, Philosopher And Political Analyst Who Combines All Of These Roles To Serve The Cause Of Human Liberation And To Alleviate Human Suffering Brought On By Ignorance And Apathy." In addition to the handbill is 3.5x4.75" color photo from the event and 5x8" glossy photo signed "To You From Dick Gregory." All items are essentially Mint.
