Item Description
Two sheets are 9.5x12", one sheet is 10x12". All are on Hammermill management bond. One sheet has four different lead and color pencil drawings of giant exaggerated birds including two showing them standing full figure with small person at lower right and sheet also features close-ups of their faces. Dated 1939 at lower right in lead pencil. Other two sheets are in lead pencil. One sheet has ten different drawings and the other has nine different drawings. Images include dogs, fox, pig, donkey, cow, several fantasy animals, man with beard and sea captain type. Three drawings on exaggerated birds sheet are neatly cut out paste ups, one sheet has pencil scribbles around edges and sheets have light aging around margin edges. Image areas will mat and frame to Fine/VF appearance. All are well drawn and expressive by a gifted artist who was a top animator at Disney from 1934 to 1937.
