Item Description
4.75x18" art board has 3-7/8x17.5" India ink image area with three panels. Barney is in two panels and his friend Sully is in three panels. Storyline has Barney trying to keep Sully from being punch-drunk. He asks Sully to turn around and obviously kicks him as Sully is holding his rear end with stars in air in panel three as Barney says "Come On". Art is dated April 22 in ink in panel three which is also signed in ink by cartoonist-creator DeBeck. First two panels have applied King Features Syndicate copyright sticker. Reverse side has title of strip in blue pencil "Turnabouts Fair Play". Blank margin and edges of strip are a bit yellowed with age, otherwise art will mat and frame to VF+ appearance.
