May 9 issue has pages #103-246 contents include eight page United Artists section with nice full page ads including Charlie Chaplin in "The Gold Rush", Douglas Fairbanks in "Don Q Son Of Zorro", Rudolph Valentino in "The Bronze Collar", William S. Hart, and Mary Pickford. Other contents include mention of San Francisco "Phantom of the Opera" premiere. Photo of Tom Mix and Tony aboard ocean steamship, Rin-Tin-Tin in action, photo of dinosaur model from "The Lost World", 22 page "Rayart Pictures" section, and Lillian Gish full page ad. Inside back cover ad for "Robert Morton Unit Organ". Second issue is for July 4 with total of 100 pages. Back cover promotes "Play Ball!" film with art of batter swinging at ball. Contents include photo of Our Gang in "Official Officers", half-page ad for "The Gumps", double page Fox ad with Buck Jones on left and Tom Mix on right. Covers have some dust soil and lt. handling wear, May 9 issue has two bits of cellophane tape at bottom of spine going on to covers and ink note in center of front cover. Spines have lt. wear. Overall covers VG, contents VF/Exc. Limited distribution, just issued for those in the trade. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
