Ten books in this lot are all first printings in edition runs of 4,000 copies each except for the first title "The Face In The Mirror", 1971 with an edition of 2,000. The remaining titles and years are "Stories Of Darkness And Dread", 1973, "Collected Ghost Stories", 1974, "The House Of The Worm", 1975 (sealed), "Nameless Places", 1975 (sealed), "Xelucha", 1975, "The Height Of The Scream", 1976 (sealed), "Kecksies", 1976 (sealed), "Dwellers In Darkness", 1976 (sealed) and "Half In Shadow", 1978 (sealed). Unsealed books have small pencil prices and first print notations inside of covers. Dust jackets and books have light wear and are Exc. "The Face In The Mirror" has a tear on spine so DJ is Fine/VF. Sealed books are NM as issued. Arkham House is a publishing house specializing in weird fiction founded in Sauk City, Wisconsin in 1939 to preserve in hardcover the best fiction of H.P. Lovecraft. The company's name is derived from Lovecraft's fictional New England city, Arkham. Arkham House editions are noted for the quality of their printing and binding. An instant library.
