Item Description
3.25x5-3/8" textured stock card published by EKC  c.1945. Nice image shows Sisler standing full figure in uniform at edge of field with large crowd in stadium in bkg. Card has trace of lt. dust soil with a few faint corner creases. Unused and Fine. Sisler, whose father was Hall of Famer George Sisler, was a baseball legend in Cuba during the 1945-46 season before going on to his ML debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1946. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
