Item Description
3-3/8x5.5" has photo titled "The Champions Of The Connecticut State League" with photo of 11 member team in uniform with large letter "H" on jerseys and five men wearing suits including club president and manager. All are named at bottom of photo.  White areas of card have trace of lt. dust soil with a few barely noticeable and faint moisture marks. Unused and VF. The Connecticut State League began in 1902 as a Class D League and became a Class B League in 1905, lasting until 1913. The Holyoke Paperweights existed between 1903 and 1911 and were also known as the Papermakers between 1907 and 1911. The team was based in Holyoke, MA. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
