1930s. Complete set of ten 1 1/8” wide by 1 7/8” tall die-cut tin litho, each marked on base “One Of A Series Of Famous Cartoon Characters. Look For Others In Cracker Jack.” Each standee has unbent base as originally issued. Kayo and Annie had bases folded but are now unfolded. Annie has narrow crease line across top edge, but paint on both is extremely Fine. Only three show some paint wear. Moon Mullins has small white paint loss below bottom rim of the oval. Skeezix has excess brown shellac marks on the base. Uncle Walt has scratching of the text on the base. These five have bases that appear never folded and with NM paint: Chester, Harold Teen, Herby, Perry and Smitty. These five are high grade examples. Rarely found complete as a set.
