Item Description
25.5x30.5" cardboard shipping carton has label dated Nov. 22 1939 with second "Whitmans Sampler" address label for drugstore in Los Angeles. Box has age and wear. Good. Contains 26.75" wide 50" tall cardboard standee with wonderful full figure image of Santa holding Whitman's sign. Figure has horizontal fold through center as made for shipping. Easel back appears complete but may need reinforcements around top of display. VG. Sign front has lt. haze with a few bits of missing surface paper off corner tips. Bright and Fine overall. Impressive size and well done.
