Item Description
No date. 5x6" white textured art board has wonderful India ink and tempera original art with some pencil under drawing of Fester signed at right in ink "From Uncle Fester And Chas Addams". Blank reverse side also has his signature written lightly in fiber-tip pen. A superb image in Exc. condition. Charles Addams (1912-1988) had his first drawing appear in the New Yorker magazine in 1932 and his cartoons ran regularly in that magazine from 1938 on when he first drew what would become The Addams Family. The Addams Family TV show ran on ABC for two seasons from 1964 to 1966. A classic image of one of Addams most "kooky" characters.
