Item Description
Hake #3184. 1.75” reading “For Governor Theodore Roosevelt.” Many examples (see next item) of this button have a hole in the bottom rim edge where a loop held a rabbit’s foot. This example does not have the rim hole. Button is complete with its backpaper naming W&H. In addition, curl of the button reads “Copyrighted 1898 By Rockwood/The Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J.” This is a superb example. NM, displaying Mint.
