Item Description
This piece is 5.5" tall with heavy bronze finished white metal hanger and medallion backed by an rwb fabric ribbon. On the reverse there are a pair of .25" dots of missing fabric where the fabric wraps over the hanging bar but everything remains very intact and none of this fabric loss shows from the front. Back of the ribbon includes a large paper label from the NYC firm "The Political Equipment And Manufacturing Company/Badges, Lapel Buttons, Banners, Etc..." Front of the piece has large spread wing eagle at the top as well as the Capitol dome. Below are a pair of celluloid inserts one designating "Delegate" and the other reading "Republican National Convention/Chicago/June 21st/1904." Aside from the minor fabric loss on reverse the piece is NM. Very limited issue.
