Item Description
11-1/4x17-3/4" flat for c. 1947 premium. Front of box features illustration of three example photos from the series including Adolph Kiefer, Orval Grove (White Sox) and Alexis Smith. A second box was issued featuring George Mikan, Mary Hardwick and Kay Kyser. One side panel includes text on the series of 66 photos including list and offer for the photo album. Back panel is mail-in offer for "Pep Gy-Rocket." Photos were packaged one per box. Flat is unused but folded along center line and has scattered slt. margin aging and dust soiling. VF. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
