Item Description
In this group the largest celluloid item is 1.5" dia., the large bronzed white metal piece for Dewey is 2.25x3" tall and the cloth flag picturing Rear Admiral Schley has a fabric 2.75" wide on a long brass stickpin 5" tall. This piece has hairline .5" split above the purple flag. The 1.5" Dewey celluloid is double sided with celluloid depiction on back of "Adm'l Dewey's Flagship/U.S. Cruiser Olympia." What this once hung from is missing. The two items in brass are a figural "Dewey" embossed stickpin and a brass medallion with his portrait suspending from brass figural of his "Olympia" ship. Two of the celluloids have slight age trace being a little brown tone on the 7/8" b/w button and a rim spot and scuff in reflected light on the 1.25" "Our Hero." The other six celluloids displays essentially Mint. A nice group with numerous scarce pieces.
