Item Description
c. late 1960s for premiums that were never produced. 9.75x12.5" art board has thin mat with 6-5/8x9.5" opening revealing ink and colored pencil on sheet of vellum art paper. Cap'n Crunch is holding sword and saying "Free Inside This Package" with images of six different items which have applied character transfers. Characters and items include: Carlyle Book Cover, Good Ship Guppy Flag, Magnolia Bulkhead Writing Paper, Seadog Hangtag, Alfie & Brunhilde Handkerchief, Cap'n Crunch T-Shirt. Vellum sheet is attached to art board with cellophane tape around blank margins not evident from front. Back of art board has gold foil "A Creation Of Sam Gold Premium King" crown sticker. Exc. Nicely designed. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
