1.5” brass decoder has reverse brass pocket clip and a pair of clear overlapping plastic dials, one with letters and one with numbers for decoding purposes. Front has .5” dia. highly domed ruby red plastic disk held by 4 brass prongs. This can be lifted off to reveal paper image of Captain Video flanked by lightning bolt accents. Paper image has small nicks around the lower edge but still displays very cleanly. Some luster off lower half of front but 70% remains. The letters and numerals on the reverse plastic wheels, which are sometimes rather worn, remain Mint in this case. A scarce premium from Power House Candy c. 1951.
