Item Description
This is the complete ring plus two extra parts. The promotion text instructed "Wear It As A Ring Or Carry It In Your Pocket." It consists of a yellow plastic ring base on which 2" long gray rocket body can be positioned if item is being used as a ring. However, the fit was not snug and this example has clear glue on the ring top. Rocket would need reglued if intended to stay firmly mounted to the base. Rocket includes key chain and built-in "Secret Alarm And Signal Whistle." Also an inset and removable "Secret Magnifying Glass" is positioned on the top of rocket. The main feature is a glow-in-dark .5x5/8" stiff paper illustration of Captain Video. This glows brightly and his image can be seen in the dark. There is one NM photo and an extra with dust soil but both glow brightly. There is also an extra gray rocket but without magnifier and chain. A similar ring was also issued by Popsicle as a premium for Major Mars. A rare ring as parts were easily lost.
