1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow-up to the 1924-1925 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects. Glossy photo front with text below portrait "Base-Ball Fabre (P.)" Sharp, bold image. This is the highest graded example of this card by major grading companies. The card back has the card number and an ad for Aguilitas (the baseball cards were skip numbered between 751 and 849). Fabre played over 21 years for multiple Cuban teams and was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1957. See his Nacionales card item #1229.
