Item Description
c. early 1930s. 2-5/8x4.5" snapshot taken from over the top of the dugout shows players on field including Ruth in foreground about to throw a ball. Nearby is teammate and fellow HOF member Joe Sewell. Ruth's last year with the Yankees was 1934 and Sewell played with them between 1931 and 1933. A few tiny margin edge creases just visible in reflected light. VF. A nice crisp image with a few fans just beginning to arrive in the bleachers in the outfield. A unique Ruth item. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
