Item Description
6.5x9" with stiff paper covers and 16 pages for "Season 1947 First Half". Front cover has nice photo of Lloyd in uniform standing on base with caught ball in glove. Book is printed for Baltimore Elite Giants vs. New York Black Yankees with unused score card pages in center. Players shown with biographies on inside pages include John "Steel Arm" Taylor, James "Candy Jim" Taylor, Henry Kimbro. Also includes short biography on John H. Lloyd and photos of Vice President and half owner Vernon Green and his wife. Elites player roster includes Junior Gilliam. Single staple has tiny bit of oxidation, covers have lt. dust soil. Back cover has a few faint moisture marks. Overall Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
