See Plane Crazy production art attributed to Ub Iwerks #2208. 9.5x12" animation sheet has 5.25" tall overall lead pencil image area with full figure of Mickey Mouse holding mallets in air related to scene six minutes into the cartoon where he used mallets to play bull's teeth. Lower right corner has lead pencil number "58", reverse side has small ink stamp number "56". Mickey's left foot has red pencil shading on sole with reference number "2RUN". Sheet has lt. margin aging. Image area is clean and Exc. Nice example with full figure image of Mickey. Released on Nov. 18, 1928, Steamboat Willie was the third of Mickey's cartoons to be produced, but was the first to be distributed and the first to be shown more than once in a theater. It is historically recognized as the first cartoon to feature a full soundtrack. A clean and tight historical drawing.
