Item Description
2.25x3.5" engraved calling card with raised lettering "J.L. Chamberlain" has nice fountain pen signature on reverse "Very Truly Yours Joshua L. Chamberlain". Trace of lt. aging. VF. Chamberlain (1828-1914) was commander of the 20th Maine. Their stand at Little Round Top saved the Union line at Gettysburg. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his defense and later served as governor of Maine and president of Bowdoin College. Comes with Hake's COA.
