Item Description
Lot of 13 cards featuring different KFS character images on fronts and same text backs promoting "World Famous Comics In Color Every Sunday With The Baltimore American." c. 1934. 2x3". Card for Felix is misidentified as "Krazy Kat." Others are: Mister Wimpy, Captain's Wife, Fritz, Maggie, Barney Google, Scully, Little Bunky, Mike And Ike, Dinglehoofer, Boob McNutt, Pa Perkins, Tillie The Toiler. The Wimpy card has severe margin trim. All others have lt. wear and aging. Exc. Scarce series. Lot also includes a 3.75x9" blotter for same newspaper promoting Bringing Up Father and The Katzenjammer Kids strips, noting Sunday Oct. 7 debut and dates to 1917. Lt. margin wear and dust soiling but unused. Fine.
