Item Description
3.5" tall dark green figural glass 3.5 oz. jar depicts circus elephant with "Jumbo Peanut Butter" blanket on back. c. 1930s. The Frank Tea & Spice Co. Complete w/original tin screw-on lid at bottom. In addition to Jumbo name and company info, text reads "Write For New Peanut Butter Recipes." Nice portrait on elephant at center of lid. Coin slot on lid. Jar could be displayed with Jumbo standing up or with lid facing up, thanks to a flat spot on the elephant's back as designed. Jar itself is NM. Lid shows some wear with lt. trace of oxidation. Fine.
